MAIN DESIGN FEATURES OF THE MK4
The cab is a fully armoured structure equipped with 56 mm armoured glass windows which are additionally protected by an internal polycarbonate liner and steel grill on the outside. There are facilities for 1 operator and 1 additional crew. The inner walls of the crew compartment are lined with a sound proof material and the cab temperature conditions are controlled with heater/air conditioner units. The cab floor has an armour plated double skin with the lower underside having an angled profile, specifically designed to provide maximum deflection of blast forces. Headphones with an attached voice activated microphone allows hands free communication between the crew of two and external stations.
CAB ASSEMBLY
The filter unit on top of the cab provides clean, filtered air for the cab and engine.
